We were supposed to leave Chitwan this morning, but due to contradictory news regarding the condition of the road back to Kathmandu we decided to stay one more day here.

That means we’ll meet our Lama brother no sooner than tomorrow. I talked to him yesterday (connection improves day by day) and clarify the core needs: rice, dal, oil (the basics for dal bhat, the Nepali daily meal), blankets, tents, clothes, medicines. For his family and the whole village community stranded up there, on the Yellow Monastery hill.

That means no rest. Let’s give some more until tomorrow. Possible. Why not?
