33 days since that big earthquake rendered Nepal to rubble. And 33 days of generosity you kindly showed towards brother Lama and his family.
It’s a matter of days until the monsoon will pour cats and dogs over Nepal, but with your immense help, these people who lost everything have now a new home.
With your fast and vigorous financial support, they were able to build in a very short time reliable, strong shelters for the rainy season. Three shelters like the one presented in this photo album are already up and two more almost completed. The cost of each shelter was around 85.000 Nepali Rupees (i.e. 850 USD) – materials and labour.
I say it once more, and I like to repeat it as often as possible, that without your support there wouldn’t have been any hope for brother Lama and his family. They send many dhanyabads from their hearts to the hearts of all 111 of you, who gave love and happy during this first terrible month after the disastrous earthquake:
